As LDAF is revised, new awards will be known as "Learning Disability Qualifications" (LDQs). Information about LDQs can therefore be found on this website too.

The revised LDQ website www.ldq.org.uk will be available shortly. This will be the website to access current and up-to-date information about LDQ and Knowledge Sets. This LDAF website will stay as an archive site for those completing their LDAF awards.
OCT 09 Guidance regarding LDQ and the Learning Disability Knowledge Sets can be found in the joint Valuing People, Skills for Care document at the bottom of this page.
(We can also send an 'easy-read version' of the outline to this work but it is too large to add to the website as a file. Use the Contact Us section to request a copy which can be emailed out to you.)

NEW LEARNING DISABILITY KNOWLEDGE SETS LAUNCHED BY SKILLS FOR CARE (May 2008)
Skills for Care have launched 5 new Knowledge Sets for people working in learning disability services. These can be found on the Skills for Care website by following the link below.

Click onto the 'What's New' section for LDQ Induction Award Units at Levels 2 and 3. From there you can downloiad the units as well as mappings to NVQ.
